If you want fulfillment, meaning, and success in your life. But you’re confused about what you need to do to achieve it. Keep reading.
I hope to clear this up for you.
Today this article will help you gain some insights on what gives life purpose as well as shed some light on understanding what your life purpose truly is.
But first, let’s look at …
Where people go for guidance and what people are saying about what gives their life purpose:
Some people look to their ancestors. They believe that following the path of their ancestors will give their life purpose. So they make their occupations and lifestyle choices accordingly.
On the other hand, for that sense of purpose and to understand what gives life purpose, many people seek guidance from their culture. Which is often rooted in religions or some outside guidance.
Then there are some who believe that they themselves are solely responsible to give their life purpose.
And there are still others who hold firmly to the belief that the pursuit of happiness does it for them. Which pursuit does not always have to be related to personal pleasure, but to living a life that is fulfilling and meaningful.
But what does having a life that is fulfilling and meaningful even mean?
To a large extent, the voices of thought leaders, also echo this belief.
For instance, Oprah Winfrey, ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century and the greatest black philanthropist in American history, believes that the goal of life is to do your best to have a fulfilling life.
She adds – it’s not just about money or fame or success – it’s about being happy with what you are doing every day and knowing that you are fulfilling your purpose on this earth.

Trying to figure all this out feels like beating our heads against the wall.
I once thought that my corporate job was my purpose. Until I lost my passion for my career and became so unhappy. I spent no less than two years thereafter, going around in circles. Searching to find my purpose in life, my dream career, and my passions.
Because I believed this was the only way I could find happiness and fulfillment.
Am I the only one?
How many of you have searched to find and land that dream career or have settled in a job thinking that you’ll reap success, help others and find fulfillment but have come away seriously disappointed?
Looking back later on your past in despair.
Thankfully, I’ve found what gives life purpose. And knowing what I do know now, I can honestly say all that time on that carousel, hasn’t been wasted.
Let’s dive in. You want to …
